The Azerbaijani Ambassador to Morocco, Nazim Samadov, has announced the upcoming Azerbaijani Films Week will be in Morocco, according to AzerNews.
During his visit to the High Institute of Audiovisual and Cinema Professions in Rabat (ISMAC), Samadov underscored the growing ties between Azerbaijan and Morocco in the cultural area.
Samadov highlighted the importance of fostering partnerships between Morocco’s ISMAC and similar institutions in Azerbaijan, including joint projects, training programs, and cultural exchanges.
During the Azerbaijani Films Week, a film highlighting Azerbaijan’s history, particularly the occupation of the Garabagh region, will be showcased. Hakim Belabbas, the institute’s director, expressed Morocco’s readiness to deepen cultural ties.
The two parties discussed organizing a Moroccan Films Week in Azerbaijan and a photo exhibition on Azerbaijani culture.
The ambassador toured the institute’s state-of-the-art facilities and engaged with students, signaling the initiative’s potential to inspire future cultural and educational exchanges.
