The Moroccan government appointed Achraf Fayda as the new Director General of Morocco’s National Tourism Office (ONMT) during a council meeting held on Thursday.
Fayda steps into the position previously held by Adel El Fakir, who transitioned in June to lead Morocco’s National Airports Office (ONDA).
Fayda has extensive experience in marketing. Since 2022, he has served as the marketing director at Centrale Danone, a major player in Morocco’s dairy industry.
Before then, he held the role of regional marketing manager at Coca-Cola, where he oversaw strategies across the MENA[??] region.
Fayda’s appointment comes at a time when the office is intensifying its efforts to attract international travelers and bolster Morocco’s tourism economy.
