Aleph Hospitality, a Dubai-based hotel management company, has entered the Moroccan market with agreements to operate two renowned luxury properties: Michlifen Resort & Golf in Ifrane and the Marchica Lagoon Resort in Nador, HospitalityNet announced on Wednesday.
The Michlifen Resort & Golf, set in the Middle Atlas Mountains at an altitude of 1,650 meters, is celebrated for its Alpine chalet-inspired design. This five-star property includes 72 suites offering four distinct luxury style decoration, seven food and beverage outlets, an award-winning Jack Nicklaus-designed golf course, a world-class spa featuring hammams and a Balneotherapy Centre, and extensive recreational and business facilities.
The Marchica Lagoon Resort in the northern area of Nador is situated along the picturesque Mediterranean coast. It boasts contemporary architecture that harmonizes with its surroundings, offering luxury accommodations, fine dining, and exclusive wellness amenities. Its prime location at the edge of the Marchica Lagoon aims to position it as a premier destination for leisure and eco-tourism.
Bani Haddad, Founder and Managing Director of Aleph Hospitality, expressed enthusiasm for the new establishments. “We are honored to manage these exceptional resorts and are committed to elevating their operations. Morocco’s tourism is at a turning point, with a record-breaking 14.5 million tourists in 2023 and ambitious plans to reach 17.5 million by 2026, Haddad said. He noted that Aleph’s expansion in Morocco coincides with an “opportune time to support the industry’s growth.”
These agreements align with Morocco’s USD 580 million tourism roadmap, which focuses on expanding infrastructure and new flight routes in preparation for the 2030 FIFA World Cup, co-hosted with Spain and Portugal.
Aleph Hospitality’s growing portfolio of over 30 hotels in the region posies the company to make a significant impact on Morocco’s luxury hospitality landscape.
