The annual “Visa For Music,” one of Africa and the Middle East’s premier music events kicked off on Wednesday in Rabat at the Mohammed V Theater, bringing together prominent musicians and artists from across the continent.
Visa For Music has designed its program to appeal to both music enthusiasts and those curious to explore new sounds. The event offers networking opportunities, live showcases, conferences, and hands-on workshops. All events will take place at various key locations in Rabat.
New to this year’s lineup, “Afters at Chellah” will bring late-night performances by renowned artists RJ Kanierra, Omary, and Monile.
Organizers say this year’s festival will attract over 1,000 music industry professionals and 500 international artists.
Minister of Culture Mohammed Mehdi Bensaid and other notable figures attended the opening ceremony of the event that will run from November 20 to 23.
