Moroccan students earned a gold medal, a silver medal, and two bronze medals at the 4th Arab Mathematics Olympiad, held in Doha, Qatar, from November 10-14.
Student Yassine Kamouh from the Casablanca-Settat region won the gold with a score of 38/40. Sami Moussaoui from Morocco’s eastern region garnered the silver with 32/40 points. Lina Shaker and Omar Hamidi, both from the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region, each won a bronze medal with scores of 14/40 and 13/40, respectively.
22 Arab countries participated in the 4th Arab Mathematics Olympiad, with each country sending a team of four competitors. Participants completed a single test lasting four and a half hours.
