Morocco’s national football team crushed Lesotho 7-0 during the 2025 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers on Monday at the Honor Stadium in Oujda. With the win, the Atlas Lions continued their winning streak, securing 18 points, topping Group B.
Brahim Diaz took center stage with an early goal in the fifth minute, setting the tone for Morocco’s relentless attack.
Just ten minutes later, Díaz struck again from the edge of the area, doubling the lead. Morocco maintained the pressure throughout the first half, denying Lesotho any chance to recover.

Despite Lesotho’s efforts to push forward, Morocco’s defense remained unyielding, blocking multiple attempts and preventing any threat to their goal.
The Atlas Lions continued their relentless attacks in the second half, culminating in a stunning goal from Youssef En-Nesyri in the 68th minute.
Soon after, Ismael Saibari brought the tally to a sweeping 7-0, finding the back of the net in the 70th minute with a beautiful assist from midfielder Sofyan Amrabat.
