OCP Africa, a subsidiary of Morocco’s leading fertilizer group OCP, recently inaugurated its Farmer Service Centers (FSC) project in Rwanda, according to an announcement on X Friday.
The initiative is designed to improve smallholder farmers’ access to essential inputs and services, increasing agricultural productivity and sustainability across Rwanda.

The project was launched in partnership with the Rwanda Fertilizer Company (RFC) and the international NGO CNFA under the USAID “Feed the Future Rwanda Hinga Wunguke” initiative.
It includes the establishment of seven centers nationwide, empowering local farmers with timely resources and expert support.
The launch event brought together over 40 key stakeholders, highlighting the initiative’s potential to boost yields, promote sustainability, and drive long-term economic growth in Rwanda. OCP Africa highlighted the centers’ role in addressing challenges faced by smallholder farmers, strengthening food security, and supporting rural development.
