Sanchez also acknowledged the contribution of rescue teams from Portugal and France, who are actively supporting Spanish authorities in the disaster response.
The floods, triggered by Storm DANA, devastated multiple southern areas, prompting widespread relief efforts.
Responding to the crisis, Morocco’s King Mohammed VI instructed Interior Minister Abdelouafi Laftit to contact his Spanish counterpart, offering Morocco’s full support in managing the natural disaster.
Following these royal directives, Morocco dispatched an exceptional relief team to Spain. The convoy, which included 24 high-capacity water-pumping trucks and 70 operators, arrived in Valencia on Wednesday to bolster rescue efforts in one of the hardest-hit areas.
