Pakistan and Morocco are working to strengthen their bilateral relations with a focus on military collaboration, joint training, and industrial cooperation, according to Radio Pakistan.
At a meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday between Pakistan’s Chief of the Air Staff, Morocco’s Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu, and Major General Mohammed Gadih, the Inspector of the Royal Moroccan Air Force, the Air Chief acknowledged Pakistan’s commitment to enhancing its military ties with Morocco, particularly through joint training programs covering a wide spectrum of air power applications, including both basic and tactical training for Moroccan Air Force personnel. The initiative reflects Pakistan’s resolve to deepening defense cooperation with Morocco.
Major General Gadih, in turn, commended the technological advancements of the Pakistan Air Force, expressing interest in leveraging Pakistan’s aerospace industrial capabilities to enhance the operational effectiveness of the Moroccan Air Force.
He also admired the state-of-the-art technologies showcased during his visit to Pakistan’s National Aerospace Science & Technology Park and showed strong interest in exploring industrial collaboration opportunities.
The talks also covered various aspects of military cooperation, with an emphasis on training programs and industrial collaboration, positioning both nations to strengthen their defense and industrial sectors.
