Morocco will be participating in the Saudi Heritage Commission’s 2nd Handicrafts Forum in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, scheduled from November 23-29, that is expected to bring together over 500 artisans from 25 countries.
The forum will showcase the cultural heritage of various ethnic groups as well as the diversity of traditional crafts and skills handed down from generation to generation. It will also promote and preserve Saudi Arabia’s own rich heritage as the nation prepares to make 2025 the “Year of Handicrafts.”
The forum will feature a wide range of events, including a handicrafts village, exhibitions, workshops, an interactive experiences zone, a children’s area, and a platform for entrepreneurs and organizations engaged in the handicraft industry.
Part of the Saudi Crown Prince’s Vision 2030, the forum is intended to create a supportive environment for artisans and craftspeople while fostering sustainable cultural development.
