Morocco’s national police DGSN arrested seven suspects and seized 25,652 drug pills from various brands on Tuesday in Oujda, northeastern Morocco.
The operation aimed to stop the spread of the illicit drug in the region. The country’s intelligence agency DGST was also involved in intercepting the operation.
Following the bust, authorities have launched an investigation under the guidance of the public prosecutor to determine further details about the smuggling network and the suspects’ involvement.
