Morocco’s national men’s Under-17 football team defeated Egypt on Monday winning by a decisive five goals to one during the first-round match of the North Africa U-17 Cup of Nations qualifiers at Al Bashir Stadium in Mohammedia.
With Morocco as the host nation for the tournament, Morocco’s young men’s team showcased its strength and dominated the match. The victory now brings it one step closer to qualifying for the 2025 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
The five young prodigies who scored Morocco’s five goals are Ismail Alaoud (min. 35), Ahmed Mouhoub (min. 67), Abdallah Wazzan (min. 69), Ziyad Baha (min. 76), and Ilyas Belmokhtar (min. 90).
In its next match, the team will face Tunisia on November 17 at the Père Jégo Stadium (5:00 p.m.), Libya on November 20 at Al Bashir Stadium (8:00 p.m.), and Algeria on November 23 at Al Bashir Stadium (6:00 p.m.).
