The 2024 Morocco Berry Conference, a key event for Morocco’s berry industry, will be held on November 14 at Agadir’s Congress Palace, to strengthen Morocco’s position in the global market and promote sustainable agricultural practices.
Morocco is the world’s fifth-largest blueberry exporter, with over 200,000 tons having been exported in 2023, generating $600 million and boosting the country’s rural economy.
This year’s conference will include discussions on best practices and technological innovations led by international experts. The agenda also features workshops on sustainability, variety selection, and operational management, along with an exhibition of solutions designed to optimize production.
The Moroccan Interprofessional Federation of Red Fruits, in collaboration with consulting firms Green Smile and Hortitool, will co-host the conference, which expects 500 attendees, including 200 international participants from over 30 countries.
