The 20th Festival of Cinema of the Peoples will take place from November 21-24 in Imouzzer Kandar, located in central Morocco, Morocco’s News Agency (MAP) reported.
This year, several countries including Libya, Egypt, Spain and Morocco will participate in the festival organized by the Imouzzer Kandar Film Club.
The agenda includes a conference entitled “Artificial Intelligence and Cinema,” led by leading researchers and film professionals.
The four-day celebration features the release of a new publication, “Cinema and Philosophy,” which compiles presentations and discussions from scholars and critics who participated in the 19th festival. The program offers a series of training workshops on screenwriting, film photography, and editing, designed for young students from local public schools.
This year’s event will honor Moroccan actress Fatima Khair for her significant contributions to promoting Morocco’s cinematic and artistic scene.
