The 16th International Public Finance Conference began on Friday in Rabat and will run until November 2, under the theme “Towards a Better Restructuring of the Public Financial Governance Model in Morocco and France.”
Morocco’s Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Association for the International Foundation of Public Finances (FONDAFIP) co-sponsored the conference. It also features two panels focused on “A Fragile Public Financial Governance Model” and “Paths to Restructuring the Public Financial Governance Model.”
Nadia Fettah, the Minister of Economy and Finance; Noureddine Bensouda, the General Treasurer of the Kingdom of Morocco; Christophe Lecourtier, the Ambassador of France to Morocco; and Michel Bouvier, Emeritus Professor at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, President of FONDAFIP, and Director of the French Review of Public Finances attended the inaugural session of the conference.
