Real Betis announced on Wednesday that it has extended the contract of Moroccan international footballer Abdessamad Ezzalzouli until June 30, 2029.
Ezzalzouli welcomed the extension and committed to proving the club’s confidence in him. “I want to maintain this level and improve it,” he said.
Since joining the club for the 2023/2024 season, he has become a key player, contributing to the team’s success in securing qualification for the Champions League.
Last season, he played 51 matches, scoring nine goals and providing two assists.
At 23, the player maintains his position as a crucial figure in international football, representing both his club and Morocco’s national team. He secured a bronze medal with the U23 national team at the 2024 Paris Olympics and also claimed the U23 Africa Cup of Nations title.
