Three Palestinian startups sponsored by the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Acharif Agency are participating in the International E-Health Forum, that opened in Casablanca on Wednesday.
With the future of digital health as the primary focus of this conference which is being held under the High Patronage of King Mohammed VI and co-organized by the Mohammed VI Foundation for Science and Health and the E-Health Innovation Center of Mohammed V University in Rabat, in partnership with the Ministry of Health, the mission is to promote superior healthcare for people around the world.
Mohamed Salem Cherkaoui, the managing director of the Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency, stated that the forum is part of the agency’s 2024-2027 digital strategy, and includes an incubator supporting young Palestinians in technological innovation.
The three selected startups are featured at a dedicated booth that allows participants and partners to discover new digital healthcare solutions.
The selected startups include “Line of Sight,” which specializes in advanced optical imaging to precisely locate dental implants, especially effective in full-jaw rehabilitation, and utilizes artificial intelligence.
“For Better Vision” offers a device that enhances the autonomy and quality of life for people with vision problems, while the “Healers” startup has developed a new sternum surgery technique that reduces recovery time and pain without the need for metal wires.
Bayt Mal Al-Quds Agency is supporting these startups through the BMAQ Innovation Hub, an incubator that provides a five-month program with 190 hours of interactive training. The forum provides these startups with an opportunity to demonstrate their technical capabilities and connect with partners in the healthcare sector.
