The two leaders called for an immediate halt to the attacks in Gaza and Lebanon and regional escalation, urging for the protection of civilians and ensuring the smooth delivery of essential humanitarian aid.
Macron and King Mohammed VI reiterated an urgent revival of the peace process based on a two-state solution, advocating an independent Palestinian state along the borders of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
King Mohammed VI accepted Macron’s invitation for a state visit to France, with the date to be determined through diplomatic channels.
