The number of participants in alternating vocational training in Morocco is projected to rise from 25,000 to 100,000 annually, according to media reports. The initiative is part of Morocco’s employment roadmap outlined in the 2025 budget bill.
Alternating vocational training primarily focuses on young people who may not meet the criteria for vocational training, providing them with essential skills for professional development.
Morocco currently has 57 centers dedicated to providing alternating vocational training in an employment setting. The training model yields significant results in facilitating professional integration, training tens of thousands of young individuals through partnerships with cooperatives. By offering both training and employment opportunities, the initiative is helping to significantly expand Morocco’s workforce skills and capabilities.
