Terrorists allegedly bombed a Turkish Aerospace Industries facility in Ankara belonging to TUSAŞ a major player in Turkiye’s defense sector, on Wednesday, leaving multiple casualties.
Turkiye’s Interior Minister Ali Yerlikaya confirmed the attack. “Unfortunately, we have martyrs and injured people following the attack,” he said.
TUSAŞ is responsible for maintaining the nation’s fleet of F-16 fighter jets and for developing advanced military aircraft, including the TF-X program and the Hürkuş training aircraft.
Emergency services responded to the scene, with images from Turkish state media showing a heavy presence of rescue teams.
