Morocco’s Minister of Industry and Trade Ryad Mezzour and Estonia’s Foreign Affairs Minister Margus Tsahkna met on Monday to discuss ways to enhance trade exchanges and investment development between Morocco and Estonia.
Minister Mezzour noted that the meeting was a “valuable opportunity to discuss ways to develop partnerships between the two countries in areas such as information technology, e-governance, and innovation.”
Highlighting Morocco’s numerous advantages, competitive benefits, and investment opportunities, Mezzour noted that the Kingdom’s industrial strategy and recently launched digitalization initiative are fostering a “dynamic local industrial ecosystem.”
“Morocco has a competitive industrial background, essential infrastructure, and skilled human resources, as well as a favorable business climate,” the minister stated. He also touted the diverse opportunities available in areas such as automotive, aerospace, textiles, pharmaceuticals, and renewable energy.
Minister Tsahkna, whose state visit is ongoing, also met yesterday with the Speaker of Morocco’s Lower House and Morocco’s Foreign Minister.
