FIFA President Gianni Infantino thanked Morocco on Tuesday for hosting the next five editions of the FIFA under-17 (U-17) Women’s World Cup.
During the opening of the 46th General Assembly of the African Football Confederation (CAF) in Addis Ababa, Infantino noted the rapid growth of youth football in Africa. He said investing in youth and creating opportunities to further develop football on the African continent is important.
Infantino also congratulated Morocco for co-hosting the 2030 World Cup along with Spain and Portugal.
