The Royal Moroccan Karate Federation (FRMK) announced on Thursday that Morocco will host the 2026 World Karate Championships for cadets, juniors, and U21 athletes.
The event will take place at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex in Rabat from October 14 to 18, 2026.
The championship will feature some of the world’s top young karate practitioners. The FRMK explained the significance of this event, intended “to highlight the talents and dedication of young athletes in the sport.”
“The choice of Morocco reflects our remarkable history in hosting major sporting events,” a FRMK spokesperson stated. “We are proud to demonstrate our expertise and commitment to excellence in sports.”
Morocco has a strong track record of successfully hosting international competitions, establishing itself as a premier destination for high-level sporting events. The Kingdom boasts state-of-the-art sports infrastructure, which will provide participants and spectators with modern facilities.
