Rachid Talbi Alami, Speaker of Morocco’s Lower House met on Monday in Rabat with a Vietnamese delegation from the Working Committee of Deputies of Vietnam’s National Assembly, led by Nguyen Tuan Anh, to strengthen parliamentary cooperation.
During the meeting, Talbi Alami commended the solid relations between Morocco and Vietnam, particularly in parliamentary cooperation.
He highlighted Morocco’s reforms and major projects under King Mohammed VI, the Kingdom’s administrative and electoral structures, and the Lower House’s role in evaluating public policies.
Nguyen Tuan Anh applauded Morocco’s leadership in Africa and highlighted the significance of this visit, which aims to further deepen cooperation between the two legislative bodies.
The Vietnamese delegates affirmed their interest in exchanging knowledge and experiences and reiterated the importance of fostering stronger bilateral relations.
The two countries have been strengthening their parliamentary relations since signing a cooperation agreement in 2017 in Hanoi.
Vietnam’s Ambassador to Morocco, Lê Kim Quy, also attended the meeting.
