King Mohammed VI chaired a religious vigil at the Mohammed V Mausoleum in Rabat on Sunday commemorating the 26th anniversary of the passing of King Hassan II.
Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan, Prince Moulay Rachid, and Prince Moulay Ahmed joined the monarch at the event.
The holy vigil featured the recitation of verses from the Holy Quran and the declamation of panegyrics of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him).
The Sovereign and the princes paid respects at the tomb of the late King Hassan II.
The head of government, the speakers of the two houses of parliament, royal advisors, members of the government, presidents of constitutional bodies, senior officers of the General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces, representatives of the Islamic diplomatic missions accredited in Rabat, and other civil and military figures attended the vigil.
