King Mohammed VI of Morocco will preside over a religious vigil on Sunday, marking the 26th anniversary of the passing of his father, the late King Hassan II at the Mohammed V Mausoleum in Rabat, according to a statement from the Ministry of the Royal Household.
Honoring the legacy of King Hassan II, who ruled Morocco for nearly four decades until his death in 1999, the vigil will be broadcast live on national radio and television starting at 6 p.m. local time.
