Morocco Foodex, Morocco’s autonomous body responsible for export control and coordination, is representing the Kingdom at the annual “Fruit Attraction” fair in Madrid, one of the biggest agricultural events worldwide, taking place from October 8 to 10, Morocco’s News Agency (MAP) reported.
The Moroccan pavilion spans 600 square meters and features around 30 exporters from across Morocco seeking to entice global buyers and strengthen trade relations, according to MAP.
Morocco Foodex’s participation is giving Moroccan exporters an opportunity to “showcase the full diversity of their offerings on the global stage,” according to Director of Promotion and Development, El Mehdi El Alami.
The Tanger Med Port Complex is also participating in the fair, showcasing an array of logistical services it can provide to importers, exporters, and sector operators.
Fruit Attraction is an annual international trade event in the fruit and vegetable sector with over 2,000 exhibitors from 56 countries.
Serving as a global hub for marketing fresh produce and promoting innovation, quality, and diversity, the fair connects professionals along the entire value chain, helping operators and retailers plan their campaigns at a crucial commercial moment, according to the expo’s website.
