Manchester United’s right-back Noussair Mazraoui has pulled out of Morocco’s squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against the Central African Republic on October 12 and 15 due to injury concerns, the Moroccan football federation (FRMF) announced on Monday in a social media post.

The 26-year-old defender, who joined Man United from Bayern Munich this summer, had to be replaced at halftime during Sunday’s goalless draw with Aston Villa by Victor Lindelof.
Mazraoui’s withdrawal follows a string of injury setbacks for the Red Devils, including center-back Harry Maguire, who limped off against Villa, and winger Alejandro Garnacho, who has also withdrawn from the Argentina squad due to a knee issue.
In addition, young midfielder Kobbie Mainoo has exited the latest England squad due to injury.
Manager Erik Ten Hag is grappling with an extensive injury list that includes Leny Yoro, Tyrell Malacia, Luke Shaw, and Mason Mount.
Currently sitting 14th in the Premier League after seven matches, Man United will be hoping for a swift recovery for the team’s injured players ahead of their home clash against Brentford on October 19.
