The Moroccan Under-20 national football team will play two friendly matches against its French counterpart at the Clairefontaine training center in the suburbs of Paris on October 11 and 14, Morocco’s Football Federation (FRMF) announced in a press release.
The dual fixture will allow the team to prepare for the forthcoming UNAF tournament in Egypt, scheduled for November 2024. The tournament serves as a qualifier for the next Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) championship for this age category.
The Moroccan 25 players squad for features a blend of players from both domestic and international clubs. It includes several notable players, such as Yanis Benchaouch from AS Monaco, Naoufel Elhannach from Paris Saint-Germain, and multiple players representing clubs in Belgium and Spain.
