Morocco’s AS FAR and Raja Casablanca football clubs will be competing in Group B of the 2024-2025 Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League, following the draw held on Monday in Cairo, Egypt.
The remaining two teams in Group B are Mamelodi Sundowns from South Africa and AC Maniema Union from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
Group A encompasses Al Hilal, representing Sudan, Young Africans from Tanzania, and Mouloudia Club d’Alger, along with TP Mazembe, from the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
Group C includes Al Ahly (Egypt), Orlando Pirates (South Africa), Chabab Belouizdad (Algeria) and Stade d’Abidjan.
Group D features Tunisian club Esperance Sportive de Tunis, Malian club Djoliba Athletic Club, Angolan club Sagrada Esperança, and Egyptian club Pyramids FC.
The Confederation’s Cup tournament draw also took place today, with Morocco’s RS Berkane placed in Group B, along with Stade Malien, Stellenbosch FC, and CD Lunda-Sul.
