Morocco will host the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2025 from October 17 to November 8, the International Federation of Football Associations (FIFA) announced on Thursday, following a meeting of its council held in Zurich.
FIFA has also officially granted Morocco hosting rights for the next five U-17 Women’s World Cup editions, from 2025 to 2029.
During the meeting, the Council adopted key decisions on various topics, including FIFA Member Associations and upcoming men’s and women’s competitions.
The designation further recognizes the kingdom’s capability to host major sports events, a reputation built on an effective sports strategy that ensures high-quality organization in terms of sports infrastructure, accommodation, and logistics.
The U-17 Women’s World Cup, which now features 24 teams, will be held annually beginning in 2025.
