The High Commission for Planning (HCP) announced on Wednesday that the data collection phase for Morocco’s 7th General Population and Housing Census (RGPH) was officially completed on Monday at midnight.
Households across the country participated in the census, reflecting a high level of responsiveness from the Moroccan public, according to a statement reported by the country’s press agency MAP.
The collected data has been securely digitized at a specially established, centralized Data Management Center, and is now in the beginning of the analysis phase.
HCP commended the dedication of all the researchers, observers, and supervisors involved in the process, acknowledging their ethical standards and respect for local traditions.
The institution also thanked local authorities and security services for their essential role in ensuring the smooth execution of this large-scale national operation.
