Morocco’s General Directorate of Meteorology (DGM) forecasts light rain accompanied by thunderstorms in the extreme southern regions of Morocco on Saturday, with a chance of very light rain along the central coasts, northwestern southern regions, and the western Mediterranean coast.
Cumulus clouds are expected in the High and Middle Atlas mountains, with local fog in the Atlantic plains. The weather is projected to be somewhat warm in the extreme south of the kingdom.
Local sand winds are also anticipated in southern areas, along with moderately strong gusts in the Tangier region, southern provinces, the Mediterranean coast, and the central Atlantic plains.
Minimum temperatures are forecast to range from 23 to 29 degrees in the extreme south, 8 to 14 degrees in the Atlas and Rif regions, 19 to 24 degrees in the southeast, and 14 to 20 degrees in the other regions of Morocco.
During the day, temperatures are expected to rise slightly in the Atlas mountains and the northwestern plains.
The sea is projected to be calm to slightly rough in the Mediterranean, slightly rough in the Strait of Gibraltar, and slightly rough to rough along the Atlantic coast.
