Morocco’s Head of Government, Aziz Akhannouch, met with Spain’s Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez on Tuesday in New York to review the level of cooperation between the two neighboring countries, according to a press release from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The discussions held during the 79th session of the UN General Assembly covered ways to enhance bilateral relations between Rabat and Madrid, as well as shared regional and international interests.
Nasser Bourita, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Abroad, and José Manuel Albares, Spain’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union, and Cooperation also attended the meeting.
