Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation, and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, met with the European Union’s High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, Josep Borrell, on Monday in New York during the 79th session of the United Nations General Assembly to review the current status of Morocco’s bilateral relations with the EU.
The officials addressed ways to enhance the Morocco-EU strategic partnership and establish it as a geopolitical model for the Mediterranean region, according to a press release from the ministry.
They also discussed multiple bilateral and regional matters of mutual interest.
