Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Police (DGSN) and Territorial Surveillance (DGST), signed a security cooperation agreement in Abu Dhabi on Monday during his working visit that started on September 23 to 26
The agreement involves collaboration between Morocco’s Royal Police Institute and Abu Dhabi’s Saif Bin Zayed Academy for Police Sciences.
It will facilitate joint police training programs, advanced courses, and practical exchanges between both nations’ police forces.
This partnership aims to develop specialized skills and strengthen police officer capabilities in Morocco and Abu Dhabi.
Both sides will exchange expertise in police sciences, security, and law enforcement, enhancing their global security collaboration.
Boubker Sabik, DGSN-DGST spokesperson, stated that the agreement builds on a longstanding partnership between the two nations.
He highlighted its importance in shaping future generations of highly qualified police officers capable of addressing emerging security challenges.
The collaboration also includes access to police academies in both countries, supporting capacity-building in policing and legal studies.
This initiative reinforces Morocco and Abu Dhabi’s shared commitment to bolstering their respective security infrastructures and international cooperation.
