Abdellatif Hammouchi, Director General of National Police (DGSN) and Territorial Surveillance (DGST), is on a working visit to the UAE from September 23 to 26.
The visit aims to strengthen bilateral security cooperation, develop police training programs, and establish legal frameworks for security collaboration between Morocco and the UAE.
Hammouchi signed a memorandum of understanding with Abu Dhabi Police, represented by the Saif Bin Zayed Academy.
The agreement opens opportunities for joint police training and experience sharing to build security capabilities.
In parallel, Hammouchi held discussions with Abu Dhabi Police Commander, Major General Faris Al Mazrouei, to further expand operational security cooperation.
Hammouchi also met with Ali Obaid Al Dhaheri, Head of the UAE National Intelligence Service, to discuss regional and global security threats.
Additionally, Hammouchi visited key security installations, including Abu Dhabi’s “Safe City” project, showcasing AI-driven technologies for road safety and law enforcement.
He also met with Dr. Ahmed Nasser Al Raisi, President of INTERPOL, to discuss multilateral security cooperation, where Morocco is a major player.
This visit is part of an integrated program by Moroccan security authorities to enhance international security partnerships, focusing on police training and human resources development.
