AXA Services Maroc (ASM) officially opened its new site in Kenitra on Friday, further solidifying its presence in Morocco. The inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of Ryad Mezzour, the Minister of Industry and Trade.
The new facility is designed to enhance ASM’s customer relations capabilities for the French subsidiaries of the AXA group, including AXA France, AXA Direct France, and AXA Assistance, according to a report from the country’s news agency MAP.
It features photovoltaic panels aimed at reducing energy consumption by 20%, aligning with the company’s commitment to decreasing its carbon footprint. The opening also included the launch of a recruitment agency and training center to streamline the hiring and onboarding process for new employees.
Looking ahead, AXA Services Maroc plans to recruit over 1,400 staff members across its various locations from 2024 to 2026.
In his remarks, Minister Mezzour expressed confidence in Morocco’s growing platform. “This opening confirms the trust of global leaders in Morocco, particularly AXA, through a sustainable partnership,” he said.
Ghita Mezzour, Minister Delegate for Digital Transition, emphasized the initiative’s potential to drive socio-economic growth in the region. “This effort will open new growth opportunities and promote job creation,” she stated.
Guillaume Borie, CEO of AXA France, underscored the significance of the new site, noting that the project “symbolizes AXA’s ongoing commitment to Morocco and marks a crucial step in developing our operations in the Kingdom.” He added, “We are proud to contribute to a dynamic where social and environmental impact are our priorities.”
