Several provinces across Morocco are expected to experience thundershowers, hail, and gusty winds from Thursday afternoon through Sunday evening, according to the Directorate General of Meteorology (DGM).
Heavy rainfall, potentially exceeding 50 mm in 24 hours, is forecasted from 3 p.m. Thursday to 11 p.m. Sunday in cities including Es-Smara, Assa-Zag, and Tata. The DGM has promised detailed weather alerts to provide further updates on the intensity and duration of these storms.
Meanwhile, strong thundershowers are anticipated for Ouarzazate, Guelmim, Sidi Ifni, Tiznit, Boujdour, and Taroudant during the same period. Residents are advised to stay informed and prepare for challenging weather conditions.
