Visa center “BLS International” has announced measures to address difficulties in booking Spanish visa appointments for Moroccan citizens, in response to harsh protests and media reports about brokers monopolizing appointments and reselling slots at inflated prices.
Moroccan citizens, especially those seeking family reunification and educational opportunities in Spain, have struggled to secure visa appointments, outlet “Brand Spur” said.
BLS International responded by enhancing security, scheduling practices, and collaborating with Spanish authorities to ensure a fair process.
Key changes include publishing appointment schedules in advance, simplifying the booking system, and strengthening security with encryption.
Appointments are now free of charge, and BLS updates available slots weekly based on instructions from Spanish authorities.
A spokesperson from BLS emphasized their commitment to fairness, transparency, and accessibility for Moroccan visa applicants.
The spokesperson stated: “As a global leader in visa processing, BLS International is committed to fairness, transparency, and accessibility. The recent difficulties faced by Moroccan citizens in securing visa appointments highlight the need for action.”
In addition, the center is “. Collaborating closely with Spanish authorities, to provide every Moroccan citizen with equal opportunities for family reunification, education, or travel,” the official from the center added.
BLS International, founded in 2005, operates in 66 countries and partners with 46 governments for visa and consular services.
As a publicly traded company, BLS reinforces its leadership in visa processing and aims to provide equal opportunities globally.
