SK Rapid Wien has officially signed Moroccan striker Ryan Mmaee on loan from Stoke City, with a purchase option available.
Mmaee, 26, with Moroccan-Belgian roots and scored four goals in twelve international appearances for Morocco’s national team.
He trained at KAA Gent and Standard Liège, and played for Belgium’s youth teams before switching to Morocco’s senior squad.
Rapid signed Mmaee to strengthen their offense, following injuries to key forwards Guido Burgstaller, Dion Beljo, and Isak Jansson.
Additionally, young talent Nikolaus Wurmbrand, who scored four goals in four second division matches, has been promoted to Rapid’s professional squad.
