Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nasser Bourita, attended the inauguration of the second Indonesia-Africa Forum (IAF) in Bali, Indonesia, along with a delegation representing King Mohammed VI, on Monday.
Launched in 2018, the IAF seeks to strengthen economic ties between Indonesia and Africa, a key economic partner for Indonesia.
The two-day event, entitled “Bandung Spirit for Africa’s Agenda 2063,” seeks to identify strategies for fostering an inclusive, equitable, and sustainable relationship between Indonesia and Africa.
The event serves to highlight the significance of the Bandung Spirit, which originated from the 1955 Asia-Africa Conference in Bandung, Indonesia. The concept is based on the principles of national sovereignty, equality among nations, and international collaboration free from external influence.
Several African heads of state, government leaders, and ministers attended the forum’s opening.
