Nasser Bourita, Morocco’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone conversation with his Saudi counterpart, Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Monday about the situation in Palestine.
During the discussion, the ministers addressed recent developments in the Palestinian territories and explored ways to strengthen joint Arab and Islamic efforts to halt Israeli violations.
They also discussed supporting the establishment of a peaceful and stable Palestinian state, in accordance with relevant international law, according to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The Palestinian death toll from ongoing Israeli attacks since October 7 on the Gaza Strip has risen to 40,786, Gaza-based health authorities said in a statement on Monday.
During Davod meeting in Switzerlands mid-Januray, Faisal bin Farhan al Saud stated that his nation was willing to develop full ties with Israel as part of a political accord, but this could only happen “through peace for the Palestinians, through a Palestinian state.”
