Today, TF1 will premiere the series “Camping Paradis,” a special episode titled “Les Bleus au Maroc,” (the blue in Morocco) filmed under challenging conditions in Morocco by director Laurent Ournac, showcasing the country’s vibrant landscapes and bustling locales.
The episode features characters Stéphanie (Juliette Chêne), Xavier (Patrick Guérineau), Audrey (Candiie), and Parizot (Patrick Paroux).
Tom recounts to Léa his story of meeting Stéphanie in Morocco.
Upon arrival, Xavier encounters Claire (Sandra Valentin) and her son Rayan, 14, who discovers his roots and meets his late father’s family.
The reunion with his grandparents promises to be tumultuous, but Tom is there to help.
Filming in Morocco, particularly in the bustling Jemaa el-Fna square and souks of Marrakech, provided to be a complex challenge.
Ournac described the environment as hectic, comparable to filming in Times Square, New York. With constant noise and activity, the crew had to adapt quickly.
“We had to work with what we had and shoot quickly due to the persistent noise,” Ournac explained.
The conditions required additional post-synchronization of dialogues, making the process more extreme and demanding.
Camping Paradis is a French series created by Michel Alexandre and broadcast since November 21, 2006 on the French channel TF1.
