Ports under the management of the National Ports Agency (ANP) processed more than 48 million tons of cargo during H1 of 2024, marking an 18% increase compared to the same period last year.
In Q2 of 2024 alone, cargo traffic rose by 24.6% to 26 million tons.
The agency’s cumulative revenue increased by 17.1% to nearly 1.4 billion MAD by the end of June and by 13.4% to 730 million MAD in Q2-2024.
Similarly, the consolidated revenue grew by 16.5% to 1.5 billion MAD in H1 of 2024 and by 13.1% to 786 million MAD in Q2-2024.
In terms of investments, the ANP spent 176 million MAD by the end of June and 129 million MAD during the second quarter of this year.
