The Royal Moroccan Navy’s Coast Guard intercepted a boat off the coast of Dakhla carrying 168 Sub-Saharan illegal migrants on Friday, including 6 women and 8 minors.
The would-be migrants set out to reach the Canary Islands, braving weather and sea conditions in search of better living conditions.
The Navy’s Coast Guard safely brought back the migrants to the Port of Dakhla and provided the necessary medical care to them before handing them over to the Royal Gendarmerie for administrative procedures.
