Moroccan athlete Aymane El Haddaoui earned a bronze medal in the men’s T47 100m race at the Paris 2024 Paralympics on Friday.
El Haddaoui finished with a time of 10.78 seconds, behind Brazil’s Petrúcio Ferreira, who took gold with a time of 10.69 seconds. The silver medal went to the United States’ Korban Best, who clocked 10.75 seconds.
This year, Morocco is represented by a delegation of 38 athletes, including 24 men and 14 women.
They are competing across various disciplines such as athletics for motor and visual impairments, wheelchair tennis, para powerlifting, para taekwondo, para road cycling, and goalball.
