Morocco’s Ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Hicham Dahane, highlighted Morocco’s status as a major partner and congratulated Ramón Emilio Goris Tavares, the newly elected President of the Central American Parliament (PARLACEN), Morocco’s News Agency (MAP) reported.
During the meeting held on Wednesday in Santo Domingo, both sides commended the excellent and constructive relations between the Kingdom and the Dominican Republic, attributed to Morocco’s position as a strategic partner of the Central American parliament.
The gathering which took place at the Moroccan embassy, hosted Dominican PARLACEN members Michel Ortiz and Rubén Jiménez Bichara.
Tavares, a Dominican national, was elected president of PARLACEN during the General Assembly session held on August 20-21 in Santo Domingo.
