Walid Regragui, the Head Coach of Morocco’s national football team, the Atlas Lions, on Thursday released the names of the 26 players who will be playing in the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2025 qualifiers against Gabon and Lesotho scheduled for September 6 and 9 at Agadir’s Grand Stadium.
The roster consists of three goalkeepers, nine defenders, six midfielders, and eight forwards.

The draw for the biggest African tournament, held in Johannesburg, South Africa in July placed Morocco in Group B along with Gabon, the Central African Republic, and Lesotho. A total of 23 teams will advance to the AFCON championship which will take place from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026 in Morocco.
