The Kingdom of Morocco is experiencing a shift from a recent heatwave to a cold spell, as indicated in the meteorological warning bulletin released by the Meteorological Agency (DGM), on Tuesday.
Strong thunderstorms, accompanied by hail and gusty winds, are forecast for Wednesday across several provinces, according to an orange-level weather alert.
The weather bulletin indicated that thunderstorms with rainfall of 20-35 mm are expected between 1:00 PM and 11:00 PM.
Affected provinces include Boulemane, Taza, Ifrane, Khenifra, Midelt, Sefrou, Al Hoceima, Guercif, Driouch, Jerada, and Taourirt.
